stiffness
i have a set of ksports on a daily driver set pretty low and all the way on stiff and dont really mind the ride to much becasue i like the performance. but just wondering if there is any negative effects to running coilovers on their stiffest settings at all times.
Wow, I put my Ksports on the stiffest setting and couldn't stand driving around my parking lot,but to each his/her own, I guess.
I'm willing to bet that if you constantly ride with them so stiff all of the time, they will probably blow quicker.People on HT have been complaining that their Ksports have been blowing within a couple of months, but I have had mine since March and have had absolutely no problems.I wonder how stiff and how aggressively those people rode them.

Some companies will tell you its harder on the seals. Also, if your spring rates are fixed, you will have an optimal setting for your shocks, and the added damping is only giving you the impression that your car is handling better because its taking longer to take a set. Your suspension is probably reacting slower due to the excessive damping. Just my 2 cents. I'd run them at the point where they're just controlling the motion of the springs, and make small changes to fine tune them.
