Crank Angle Sensor
I've had my Swap for a while now, and just changed the ECU about a week ago. They are both P28 but the new one has a Skunk 2 program. I know everyone says that they're crappy, but I bought it for a different reason...in any case, the car has been completely converted to OBD1. The swap is GSR into a 1991 Civic. Now, the car was fine, but I went to go and start the car last night after not driving it all day, and my check engine light came on. I pulled the code and it was 9, Cylinder Sensor (CYP) which i was told is just the Crank Angle Sensor. Now, besides the fact that is never threw this code, why all of a sudden and what do I have to do to fix it? I was told I need a new dizzy, but I was wondering if anyone else had thinks otherwise. Thanks!
code 9 is for the Cylinder sensor, not the Crank sensor - usually it indicates a problem with the distributor but could also be something in the wiring
