Alright. I have searched but found no results. So here it goes.
My H22 trans will work in every gear but reverse. Even when the car is off, it still wont go in reverse. It's like it is locked out but i dont know why? Does anybody know why my tranny wont go into reverse at all?
Thanks,
Brad

This is a common problem, your idler gear is stuck due to imperfections in the shift fork, most likely it is slightly bent.
My old prelude did this once, I ended up getting it back in by just working it like this:
(Disclaimer: This is HORRIBLE for the gear and isn't at all a GOOD way of fixing the problem but it should work. The real way of fixing this is taking the trans apart and fixing the gear.)
Get on a small neighborhood street where you can go back and forth as needed.
Push it into reverse as hard as you can, and hold it like that, start to let the clutch out and keep applying pressure on the shifter. Most likely it will just grind, but it may slightly catch, then kick you out.
Work it in back and forth like that until it goes in and stays in. It took me about 10 tries to get it fully working again.
Change your transmission fluid promptly afterward.

Yah I had the exact same problem, and I had to replace reverse. It locks out and just would go into reverse. Mine worked for an extra day after I fooled around with trying to get it into reverse, but they it completely locked out. should just replace reverse.
