friend has an 97 accord that, makes a terrible squeek sound when the fan is turned on...

how hard is it to replace the blower motor on these cars
any tips or how to advice greatly appreciated.

Looks like it drops out the bottom (#6).

This picture is for a 4-door LX; I don't know whether they're much different across the board. And these pictures don't really show whether there's enough room to remove it between the floorpan & console & everything else. You may have to dismantle a fair amount??

Yeah I actually figured it out myself when I replaced mine, I believe it's 3 screws that hold it up in there along with the actual power plug.

I spent a lot of time upside down in the car trying to get everywhere and to pull it out.

Also helps to pull back the carpet
