Yes, you will have to cut the crossmember or get an aftermarket one from Full Race or Explicit Speed or some such company.

Which mounts did you get?

as far as header's go...for b-series motors, if you want to use a 4-1 header, you'll have to either modify the crossmember to get the header to clear, OR buy an aftermarket crosssmember (traction bar).

If you don't feel like hacking up your crossmember, or spending money on a traction bar, it's been said that 4-2-1 headers fit without modifying the stock crossmember. I'm using the OEM 4-2-1 header that came with my B18C. After I removed the mount that sits on the front cross member, there is plenty of room between the motor and header.

Doing a B20 swap is EXACTLY like doing an LS swap. The material has been covered over and over and if you run unto problems its because you didn't do enough research.

I'm assuming you will be running OBD0 dizzy of and LS and OBD0 injectors?

A b20 is still a good option. Don't let this issue change your mind. It's been done before plenty of times. The only down side to a b20 that I can think of is the cylinder walls being thin, which is bad for boost. But there have been numerous people who have done this swap. You can also research crvtec, since the same block is used. Just like the guy said before, LS swaps are also similar so you can research B18A/B swaps.

Few things I learned in my time with swaps is NEVER start it until you have all the parts and you are sure of what your doing.

My theory behind swaps is researching first will yield a nice, clean reliable swap. Researching last yield poorly done hack jobs.

No. With an OBD1 ecu you want to be running OBD1 or OBD2 injectors.

As for the mount, get a mount kit from HASport and use OBD0 B series block mount (90-91 teg).

either convert to OBD1 and buy injectors, or buy a PR4 and OBD0 distributor.

btw. People have given you plenty of places to find the answers to you questions. Most of them are in the FAQ at the top of the forum.

then buy OBD1 injectors.

how did you do the conversion btw? I don't have much time to deal with wiring and I didn't feel like chasing down "gremlins" if I tried to do my own harness, so I sent it off to Rywire. Did you do yours yourself?

nope i sent it to some guy from crxcommunity. he made me an ecu jumper harness with the vtec plugs , obd1 sensor plug, and dizzy jumper harness. but i had to resplice the dizzy jumper harness for the ls. i basically stayed with the same injector clips. wut wrong with using obd0 injectors. i still have my resistor box btw

WEll you can't be OBD1 then or you would of fried your ECU/resistor box/wiring by now.

OBD0 injectors are peak and hold IIRC and OBD1 are saturated, or the other way around. The resistor box is used in OBD0 injectors/ecus because it is needed, unlike OBD1 and OBD2.

You can use OBD1-2 injectors on OBD0 ECU it just won't be as smooth (I had this on my OBD0 LS hatch, check sig for 1/4 mile times) but you can't do it the other way around. My brother did this once to some guy who refused to convert his injectors when he converted to obd1 and fried his injection system.
