Default where to find wrecked bikes

hey guys, winter is coming and i want a motorcycle for the summer. i would rather not buy a nice new bike since i used to ride a cb150 and dont have much experience with sportsbikes. also the bike is gonna see alot of track action so it will probably be destroyed by the end of summer hehe.
so now im looking for bikes with salvage titles, bad engines, crashed..... and i came across a really nice one but it was soldby the time i get to it. are there any websites that specialize in selling crashed bikes? oh BTW im looking for a 95+ 600, doesnt really matter which of the famous four since they all pretty much perform the same. thanks in advance

I got mine from crashtoys.com. Although I haven't looked at that site lately, people tell me there aren't any more good deals on there. Too many people know about it I guess.

All those website are ok, but the guys selling them are making a profit. If you want to do it right, get a license, or find someone with one, and head to some insurance auctions.

Not sure if a dealer would do that for you. But i suggest calling around and asking. And I think you can get a license fairly easily, I'd call your local court? and ask what you need to do to get your own license. I know my friend got his for under $100, and regularly picks up bikes at auction and fixes them up for resale. I'll ask him how to find the auctions.

Yeah I have. That place isn't far from my office and is a sobering reminder of how dangerous riding can be. There's an RC51 there that will scare just about anyone.
