Default V-tec wire to TB

I just bought this 88 crx si with a single vtec mini me swap. the head came from an EK. the owner said that he wired up the v-tec solenoid to the tb, and the vtec pops at any cirtain RPM.

the isnt running right now cuz he told me that the ecu and MSD box got stolen in front of his house. He gave me 2 extra ecu for it and it for a obd 0 da ls. When it was running, he was running it with and ls ecu and didnt pop a check engine light.

Can i use the MSD dizzy cap without the msd box or do i need a new dizzy?

I already have the ls ecu for it.

How does the v-tec pop when it in the TB?

Pease help me out. This is my first honda.

thanks in advance.

vtec dosent pop, and the ecu controls it not the throttle body, i think you need everything to run the msd ignition system. but use the stock distributor. o and welcome to HT. any other questions use the search and
