Ok for one, you (and a lot of other people) need to stop using the icon images just for the sake of doing so. You just called BS on your own post.. which makes no sense.

Other than that, don't be a complete dipship and break stuff just to get new stuff. You can complain all you want, but they aren't gonna replace something for free when it isn't broken just because you fear they're gonna be broken in the future. I'd definitely bring up the extended warranty thing, though. The one where the odo's were off by like 5% or whatnot.

X2. These icons are a drug to some people.

Uh huh. That's called FRAUD. Of course you could go out on the highway and mis-shift on purpose and throw the RPMs up to 11000. Then you could go to the dealer and say your engine just blew out of nowhere and you didn't do anything wrong. In which case they would tap the ECU and read the last recorded RPM ranges and determine that you're full of it.

So then you just shot yourself in the foot.

It's not worth the consequences. Relax. You have a good car. If you're taking care of it like you're supposed to then you shouldn't have any problems for a very long time.

Buy an extended warranty if you're that concerned.
