Default JDM fron end ?

So my friend just bought a JDM front end from my other friend and he gave us a T-radiator support. How hard is it to install it in my friends 95 integra? And do you guys know any links or picture diagrams on how to do it? Thanks

Pretty easy to install especially using the T support. Just drill the spot welds from his old teg (his old T support), weld in the new one. Cut the corners where the headlights go (you'll see what I mean once you start). Everything else is just bolt on.

I was going to say that if it still had the plugs, you could get the plug and play harness from passwordjdm.com for that clean look. I guess since its splice, you would have to splice your oem one and just match up the colors on the wires.

and do i really need to weld it? Or can i just drill it out and bolt it back on and get some cold putty to bond the T-support back on the cars frame?

Weld it. You can use bolts and screws as a temp fix, but you will want to eventually weld it.

Just take off his front end (hood, fender, bumper, lights) then drill out his old T support. Radiator doesnt need to come off, but unbolt other things on the old support such as grounds, screws, etc. Bolt/weld in the new one. Fit the new headlights and cut the corner of the chasis to fit the headlight (again you will see what you need to cut once you get there). Then rewire the headlight, put the fenders, hood, bumper back on. easy as that.

yeah if thats what its called. Sorry if im not being specific or correct with what im explaining but this is my friends integra that i will be working on and im a civic fan, so im not really to sure about this JDM front end that i will be installing for him. But if that is the bumper support, how to i install that on? My friend that bought the JDM front end from, from my friend only gave us the hood, lights, grill, fender, bumper, T-support, and bumper support and no screws or bolts. So how will i attach the bumper support on?

Doing the T-Bar is definitely much, much easier.

So how do i cut the Old T support off? Any outlines on where? Im alittle confused. The weblink you gave me was really good, except the fact he is doing a whole radiator and not the T-support like i am. Help.

Just look at the support. You can clearly see the spot welds. Just use a drill and drill out the welds and the T support should come off

The link i gave you is the T support. The article show a green line. That is where you cut your usdm support. The red line is where you would cut the JDM support so there is an overlap. WHen in doubt, bring it to a shop! i think most places charge anywhere from 200-400$ to do the whole radiator support

i just took pictures of my boys car and what i did so far. I need help on where to cut on the old radiator support. So when i post the pictures up you think you can edit it and circle or outline where i should cut because my T- support is somewhat different. When you see the pictures i took in 10 mins you will understand. Ok thanks guys! Oh yeah if you guys know anyone needing my boys old integra front end, he is selling it for 400 o.b.o fenders, hood, bumper, lights, bumper support. All fresh still. ok im going to post the pictures now.

passwordjdm sells plug and play harnesses for both the sidemarkers AND the brown plugs on the jdm headlights.
