need help... how can i know a a tranny im going to buy is really a b16 tranny??
need help asap im thinking bout buyin B16 tranny but dont knw if its a real b16 tranny how can i tell?

one way is pop it open and check the ring gear as well as the bolt patter on the ring gear b16a/ls share the same while gsr and type r is different.
b16a ring gear is 4.4 vs ls which is 4.2
b16a ring gear is 4.4 vs ls which is 4.2
