Default b-series in my rex

Ok so im gettin ready to drop my b16 in my 91 hf crx. right now i basically know what im doin and what i need but can you guys just let me know if im missing anything important.

1. hasports mounts
2. shift linkage
3. 91 civic 4 door ex spindles
4. motor/obd0 computer
5. wiring

Is there anything else or anything i should do to the motor. it ran real good when it was in my friends integra and pretty fresh, i was just going to wait till i pull it out and get everything built to do any work to it besides a tune up. thanx

You'll need your vtec sub-harness, axles, new shift linkage del sol bolts, rear bracket
You don't need the 4 door spindles. The crx dx or si spindles work great. I used dx spindles on my 91 HF with b16

Yeah what axles you plan on using?? Make sure they match halfshaft
Don't forget to make that dent for alternator. Very easy to forget with all the excitement.

lol yes this is very true im really pumped to do this haha. I plan on getting 91 integra axles because the motor came out of a 91 teggy. The motor is a jdm 1st gen. When i do drop this motor in is it going to be tuff to change the alternator or like a regular honda and the im going to make the dent as soon as i get down to my dads shop tommrow.

When you do your wiring do obd-1. If you ever plan on making a lot of power you will have to do it anyway. Also, obd-0 seems to have more problems. Just me .02

Why would OBD0 have more problems? Makes no sense at all.

I've done many B series swaps into EFs and I've found that with good mounts and a shorter alternator belt you don't have to bash the frame at all. Same goes with the rear cross member and I normally remove the front mount bracket off the cross member (drill out the spot welds) to give it that clean look.

You'll be surprised how many different intakes from different cars you can use once you relocate your battery. My buddy has a b16 in his ef with an ef sohc intake and it barely fits on the tb and its a stock throttle body.he hasn't moved his battery yet. A intake off of a da integra would fit with your current setup though
