Did someone **** the admin off or something?

 

thats what happens when people whine about what the title says... dont say anything and it wont get any worse

 

Well there has been alot of whinning about the title from the start, but then again they gave this forum a put down from the start..oh well, I dont care no more because I can see why they renamed it.

Not many tech questions here just how you can install a shift light or some other bs. I wish this forum gave more info on tech and how to tweak out the parts you have now, not just the " hey look at my car" or " hey blah blah blah".

I see the same stuff everyday, day in day out. This forum needs to pick up or its going to get clowned everyday by everyone. Hope this forum gets better in time, so for now I think I'll stay in the kills sections. Good luck guys...

 

It's just childish and unprofessional. It's disappointing to see such blatant displaces of petulance and imaturity. It's why this site isn't taken anywhere near as seriously as the more professional and well managed ones. And no doubt my account and this posting will most probably go missing as well but so be it, I wouldn't expect anything less. The children and their bickering on this site give real care enthusiasts a bad name.

 

It is just an Integra. I never liked the name RSX anyways.

But the thing that we are saying is that no one takes us serious around here. It is almost as if they dont want us here. They give us our own forum then complain about us, so we dont really know what to do. For the most part we get hated on by every gs-r and type R owner here, well some of them im not saying all of them. For the most part most people are pretty cool with the new integra..yes its still an integra. But it almost seems like the moderators or who ever is higher then them are letting people bash the rsx and not do anything but join them. The moderators I have talked to seem pretty cool so I do not know what is going on anymore.

But then on the other side I can understand why we get hated so much. Most of the post are bs. There are some good topics on the rsx forum, well sometimes but never any tech info, just the basic " how do I instal a shift light" or some other topic no one cares about. Granted there is not much out for our cars, so we must then see what we can do to tweak out the parts we do have ie. pull exhaust off, lighten the car, different intakes, and any other stuff to increase hp or handling.
Topics like this should help us all out in the end.

Until the RSX gets more aftermarket and R&D on it we will get talked down to by every cocky gs-r and type R owner who thinks that they are the ****. It took them 8 years to perfect the gs-r and type R but how soon they forget how it was to be the new "kid" on the block. Its sad really when you think about how people can talk so much **** about the same " brand" of car they have. Oh well, I hope this forum gets better. If you need any info or tech help on the rsx just let me know and I will help. Good luck guys....

that makes no sense. honda-tech is basically THE site for intelligent, serious information/discussion on hondas/acuras. what else is there? clubsi.com? superhonda.com? honda-acura.net? clubhonda.com? you show me one more honda site that is more "professional", "serious" and "well managed" than this one.

I'd actually say this site revolves mainly around the TYPE-R,.thats about it.
Saw that from the start,..but still have learned a couple things and mainly like to see the pic's cuz everyone here wants your car to either look *all* the same or look like theirs or its considered gay!
Pretty soon,..you will be busted on by even changing the damn wheels on your car,..unless its motor work(nuttin wrong w/ that) & keepin the Clean(aka. JDM/aka. Stock) look you're gonna be gay!

love the technical advice but as far as everyones tastes in exterior,..I'm sick of hearin the same thing form all types of different people

Don't get me wrong,.it looks pretty DAMN good,..but that just seems to be the overall look that everyone wants,.not speakin for some but you know what I mean.
COOL SITE-keep it up,..but definately not a RSX site.

I'm not "dissing" your precious RSX, I'm stereotyping the type of people who have decided to frequent (and ruin) this particular forum.

 

To be quite honest, i dont think 99.9% of the people on this board care one way or the other about an rsx a type R or whatever you drive. If youre an idiot you get called out, thats usually the way things work here. (In fact most idiots dont even get called out due to others trying to be respectful in Forced induction, but people still like to do it anyway occasionally...)

To say that the type R is what this board revolves around, youre clueless. I may only read one particular area of the board (becuase i cant tolerate most of your guys' posts here) but i think the RSX is a cool car. Its just the uneducated, lazy and netiquette-less posts that get on peoples nerves.

But guess what? You drive a honda. Youre on a honda message board. Theyre all pretty much the same, a bunch of post pubescent ~20 year old fast and furious street racers and youre gonna get in some stupid *** flame wars. If you dont like it, sell it and buy a VW. I heard VW vortex is the site for cool kids.

RSX and G7 Civic Si IMO are representetive of what is wrong with honda. Over weight, undersprung, high center of gravity, generally cars for the mass consumer full of compromises for the common person. I take a special person to drive even a GSR compared to an RSX. I will never buy another Honda again. It's BMW from here out.

 

The RSX is a decent car, but unfortunately its running into the same exact problem the new Celica's ran into. The GT, the more base of a model, is going to have a much bigger aftermarket. There is no controller for iVTEC the same as there is no controller for VVTLi. (To the best of my limited knowledge)

Once people find a way to actually USE the iVTEC to their advantage, it will continue to be looked upon as a car that SHOULD'VE had potential. Most people just misdirect their aggression towards RSX owners instead of Honda Corp. for bringing and developing a PoS that unfortunately can't be modified to its greatest ability.

Rest assured, just wait for one of the iVTEC developers to get pissed and release the secret on how it works (inner workings so it can be manipulated), it will continue to match a Celica GT-S stature.

I like hondaclub.com too, it has alot of potential, come on vtec vodoo!!!
Also, I like the rsx and think it will show potential as the years go by, the after market is definantly catching up, just look at the Tokyo Auto salon.
