So I found a body kit that is apparently going to be introduced in a group buy soon and I'm looking for opinions on it AND what people think it could possibly cost? I have no idea what body kits usually go for, and usually all I can think of is RICE when I see a body kit.. but this one looks exceptionally good to me. I got these pics from 8thcivic:





Both of the bumpers are apparently made of fiberglass and the sides of ABS plastic. Would this hold up well or would this end up looking like those other civics with bodykits who are missing large, broken off chunks of the kit and whatnot?

 

Its a faux mugen type kit

Fiberglass is not something you want on a car.
To get QUALITY fiberglass (real mugen) is one thing, but mass produced kits are another.

95% of them end up needing to be modified to ensure proper fitment and paint/prep/etc ends up making the "cheap kit" exceed the price of rear parts.

I.E the mugen kit.

i know the kits shown are rice but read the bodykits 101.

 

wow, nice that looks really good. Too bad they don't all come in as abs plastic.

at least abs plastic is somewhat decent.

and that kit is just too much imo.
