Why?

Just get the whole block. It will not bolt up. Maybe if you do some major modifications it will work.

no, it wouldnt work, there both 1.6L but, they are slightly different, just get a b16 block, or and b-series block, unless you truly have a legit reason for asking?

Odd to see this pop up as soon as I get home. There was a guy at my work today who mentioned he had a friend who put a D16Y8 head on a B16A2 block.

I told him no way, it won't work.

I think I heard about a DOHC ZC / SOHC ZC minime type of deal though. Don't ask me how it was done, I know very little about the ZCs.

They are not interchangeable. Only Bseries works with Bseries and Dseries only work with Dseries.

omg guys are u serious they also have a new motor from honda which is basicly the same principal as this its a 1.5 non vtec bottom end with a type r yeah.. vtec cracks so loud its nuts........................NO

he is probably an accord tuner,
the h22 head will bolt to the f22 block.

or he thought of the dohc d series head d16a1 or dohc zc swap

or............... he saw pocket rocket racings, s2k head on the k20 block adapter plate. even tho both are dohc's
