hey well i just got a set of prelude rims and i was wondering if their is a way to clean it up and make it nice to to fill in some scratches and the clear coat is comming off i was wondering if their is any way to fix this?? i was planning to sand the scratches with 800 grit sand paper and if their is a spray can that i can buy that i can shoot a clear coat on will this work???? sorry for asking a dumb question.... thanks

 

There are no dumb questions, only dumb people.

I'd start maybe with 600grit, then step up to something around 1000, then a bit higher too and wetsand it a bit to bring back some of the finish before you spray on the clear coat.

 

Yeah definately wet sand the rims and follow mgags7 advice and you should end up with some nicely revamp rims.
