Default Deltaco cluster on 88-89 civic crx

I was bored the other night and was thinking about putting a different cluster on my 89 crx hf that i just bought since it didn't come with one. the next day i went to the local junk yard and found a pretty nice 94 delsol cluster with its harness. so i bought it . i got in alldata and started converting wires from the crx cluster connectors to the delsol connectors. NOTE: this wiring diagram reads the pins FROM THE BACK VIEW of the connectors. making it easier to read without having to count backwards and non of that crazy ****, also, I'm not the person that is a fan of depining plugs, so i cut and solder and heat shrink. if you are not gonna depin i strongly recommend soldering and shrink tubing for this. One more thing, this diagram also does not cover the clock wiring because i did not get a chance to get the smaller connectors for it. so I'm not gonna put anything up here until i see with my eyes that it works with my car.
now for the labeling I'm gonna give the connectors for our reference

as you can see they are in the same order as the rear view of the cluster and are counted from the rear view as well
little connector on the left (8 pin) and bigger one on the right (12 pin)
here is a pic to reference this half *** diagram lol

here is the delslow once again half *** diagram

same thing as above. small connector in the left (13 pin) and bigger connector on the right (16 pin)
and another pic to reference the diagram

note: in this pic i used tape in case i needed to make correction to my wiring, so dont bring that up lol
Here is the fun stuff. jumping the wires of the connectors
CRX ------------DELSOL

A1------------A5
A2------------ECU SPEEDOMETER SIGNAL
A3------------NOT USED
A4------------B2
A5------------B1
A6------------A12
A7------------B1
A8------------A11

B1------------A13
B2------------B12
B3------------A8
B4------------B9
B5------------B11
B6------------A4
B7------------A3
B8------------NOT USED
B9------------B7
B10----------B8
B11----------B5
B12----------A6

The delsol speedometer requires an electronic speedometer signal, so its required to get an electronic vss and wire in signal input for the computer(so it knows how fast you are going) and for your cluster for your eyes to see. and it would be pin a 7 on your delsol cluster that you have to wire the vss input to.

anything you see i made a mistake on let me know so i can make corrections
thanx for reading

EDIT: I'm gonna post pictures up tomorrow of the cluster in action. as well as night shots. its kinda late right now

ok i got some pics. i still need to get the fitment problem figured out. since the hf came with a little *** cluster cover. either I'm gonna need to make a custom one or get one f those ones that are curved at the top, wither way its gonna have to be custom.
here is some pics

im gonna have to break these little tabs off so the cluster fits more properly

any suggestions as far as the fitting problem? how can i rig it?

You're gonna end up making a custom bevel.

There is no difference between the 88-89 si and hf bezels. Or even the dx for that matter. All 88-89 crx bezels were square. The round bezels were introduced in 1990-91 and they came on all models. I happen to have a 91 bezel for sale if interested.

I'd try banging down that support metal over the steering column. Make sure you don't move any bolts, but you could probably rig it up that way without any other significant changes and make it look good, possibly even work with the stock cover.
