i have a 98 ek cx and cant figure out whats wrong... when i come to a stop light it idles really rough sometimes and will stall out... i adjustted the throttle cable checked around at maybe loose grounds and couldn't find anything. dude that had it before me swapped out the header for the one without the cat on it so it is throwing a check engine light could this be the problem? It only stalls sometimes, sometimes it runs great idles great

 

has it thrown any CEL's other then this one? cjecked the codes yet?

 

yeah i checked the codes and the only one that came up was no cat...

 

When was the last time you did any tune up things, like plugs and what not.
Start with the basics, move from there to diagnose
