I hear this weird hizzing noise from my driver side wheel when i go past like 3rd gear on the highway not sure what it is, i took my tranny off not to long ago, and havent gotten a alignment yet, but the car doesent really push to any sides or anything and the steering is good, but i just don't know what it is, hope someone might be able to help with this little info, it only happens when i accelerate and you hear it stop when i brake sorry for such a asscrap questions but i am lost to what it might be, i have a 1997 hx

 

bad wheel bearing?
did you properly torque the axle bolt or just took a air gun to it?
jack the car up and check for play.

 

The axle nut was air gunned tight afterwards, but i should take the wheel off and tighten everything is that what you are saying.
