Default what do you know about Hawk Performance HP Plus brake pads? Any recommendations?

I read that it produces waaaay too much dust and doesnt have an extended life when compared to the HPS model.

Does anyone know of any great pads that dont make noise and hardly dust?

Don't have those, but I do run the HPS. I dont see any reason for anything more then the HPS on a street car, they work great! And don't dust bad. If you are wanting to run a more aggressive pad, it would be a track car I assume, and with track wheels and more aggressive tires to even make use of them, so dust should not even be an issue?

HP+ is street/track pad. It squeaks alot and creates lots of dust. I am using it on my M3 for driving events.

so i guess the tech questions about these pads are:

1) how long do they last compared to other brake pads out there. (a percentage answer would work)

2) how bad to they squeak (which i assume is only when you are breaking, is it that bad?)

3) how much break dust is too much? how often and tough is it to clean?

4) at what whp or speed would warrant using them? (turbo, NA)
