I'd rather have the harman kardon gps500 or Pioneers portable unit. Bigger and better... and even more important, cheaper.

i heard of a product called Navigon. Its a Navagation like any other (TomTom, etc) but it also has live traffic updates. Sounds good, but whether it works well or not I have no idea.

the civic si navi is missing the port in the rear for the connection
you'd need the crv navi/oddy

yeah.. they say a lifetime installation warranty. the installatino must be intense, the guy said he installed an navi from an odys into his s2000 and it took him 2 - 3 days.

im off topic.. but im really thinking about getting the portable one now..

its either this or the Harman Kardon one. the gps500 is looking sweet and going for way cheaper. $300 on ebay!

the civic naivgation takes about 2-3 hours tops. the guy was lying to you about install time. (sure if might have takes that long on another car, but not a civic) installation warranty just means they would cover the work they did. i'm thinking twice, and if your still interested i might do the install for you for the same price i told you the last time

you say about 2 - 3 hours... is this a fairly easy install or is it pretty in depth wiring... reason i ask is im not a audio/electronic guru.. but i do know how to install an aftermarket deck... never seen a navi deck though...

it's easy of you know what to do. so far i'm the only person that i know of that has done this in 2 06-08 civic's. so from my personal experience is where i came up from those numbers.

basically it's a lot of cutting and splicing, or replacing an entire dash harness
