Default Need Suggestions. Want To Build Badass DA Suspension Setup

Just like the title says, I am going to have my 93 gs-r painted at the end of feburary. In between now and then I want a better suspension setup.
I would like to spend in the neighborhood of $1500 or less.

Currently the car has-
Tein S Tech Springs
Tockico Blue struts
Ingalls Front Camber kit

I want a full coilover or stiffer suspension, my EF hatch handles like a champ but my DA feels like a boat.

What are some opinion on building a nice handling street car, that I will possibly auto-x a few times.

Cant go wrong with Ground Control Coilovers and Koni Yellow shocks. I also hear Buddy Club is really nice.

i have had ground controls with koni yellows on a crx with the gc top hats.

I am wondering if I can achieve a stiffer, tighter ride with that setup or something like a tein full coilover, and also what to buy as far as sway bars, etc

No point in going with coil-overs, Unless your going to corner balance the car. And about 1 out of 300 people I've met have done so.

Koni Yellows and some swaybars.

Struts are 90% of your handling and tokico blues are crap.

you nailed that right on the head. they are pure crap, that is why it feels like a boat.

As far as the DA body goes, what sway bars are out there ?

there's a few suspension technics... progress, there's even a write up where you can put type r swap on g2ic and if you do that then you're open to all the sway bars that are available to dc's.

The best bang for the buck is Sway Bar and polyurethane bushings,
And I don't mean polyurethane bushings for the sway bars I mean the hole suspension. About $450 for both.

Or you try what I've got. (see below) Not much can keep up with me in the canyons.
And i use it for Autocross too.

cheapest and most efficient for "bang for your buck" would be front and rear strut bars, and rear lower tie bar....after i put in the tie bar, turns weren't a problem in any weather

If $1500 is your price cap, "bang for your buck" is what your looking for.
What kinda tires are you running?
Tires make a bigger difference than anything else you can put on your car.

Try a set of Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R
If they make them in your size.

I have the S/T (F&R), I think they are 25mm(F) and 19mm(R).
The car just about never under-steers, and is only *** happy when i want it to be.
Bigger in the back will make it more *** happy, their is no wrong or rite.
just find a size that will get it to do what you want it to.
(*** happy = over-steer)

If you want to go really big in the back you can use a DC ITR bar.
