interior question
I don't know where to get it for free, but you could always pay on helminc.com
I looked and I've got every civic and integra manual for the last 15 years, but no prelude. I'll look at the house when I get home though, you never know.

i'm going to start by saying this......PLEASE DON'T DO IT!!! Back when i was a ricer i wanted to modify anything and everything on my car. Every time i did, i was more embarrased by what i had done than anything. plus, everything started rattling, **** got broken in the process, and it was more of a headache than it was worth. and you just HOPE the airbags work properly once it all goes back together. Trust me, if you don't want to be bothered by all of those little headaches, and want your car to be worth something when you sell it one day, don't do it.
If you are installing some gauges or something, buy my custom full triple gauge a-pillar piece, or my in dash triple gauge mount that was fiberglassed in the stock piece in the center of the dash (where the clock is on a 5th gen).
start by snapping off the trim pieces around the radio and clock....be very careful not to break the clips, or **** will start vibrating, rattling, or not fitting properly. unplug the clock, take the a/c vents out the sides, remove your cd player, start looking for and removing all bolts that are holding it in....be sure to remember where they go (label them). take your odometer out starting with the trim piece, try to be careful with all this stuff. i've never take my dash out, but i took it out in my talon, and i had to remove the steering wheel/airbag on it....so you may have to on the prelude as well (i bet you do have to). you will obviously have to unplug the passenger's airbag as well. remove the glove box, again- looking for any and all bolts/screws that are holding the dash in. you will probaby have to remove the a-pillar trim pieces as well. be sure everything that is plugged in gets unplugged if necessary, and start trying to pull the sucker out, being careful to watch for anything that might be holding you up. And the last step, of course, DON'T DO IT!

^^Whoa.. Calm down there dude..
I don't have a 5thGen, so I do not know how to remove the dash.
You can get the manual from http://www.hondahookup.com but you'll have to register on the site, which is no biggie.
Good luck to you!
