my 95 Honda Accord ex won't start

my 95 Honda Accord ex won't start
I have a 95 Honda Accord ex that won't start. When I turn the key it clicks then nothing it is a standard trans. so i can jump it with the clutch. IF i use a hammer and hit the start it will start but that is it.
I took the starter and batterie in and hade them tested and they were good. Needing some suggestions as to why it will not start.
