Default Tranny/Clutch HELP A.S.A.P. ! ! ! !

My vehicle : 94 Honda Civic Hatch

Engine : b16 engine swap

Tranny : hydraulic i think...

Here's the problem : After replacing the tranny my car cannot be put into any gear. (when the car is on)

When the car is off.. the car can be put into any gear with no problems

When we replaced the tranny, (exedy stage 2 clutch kit) we greased everything and installed it with no problems.

The clutch line was bled from different areas as well as the slave cylinder... and I still have NO idea why the car won't get in gear??

The clutch pedal itself has quite a bit of "play" at the beginning and then it finally gets hard. Is my pressure plate not "long" enough???

I really need help on this one. all help is appreciated greatly. I've done all i can think of and i'm still getting nowhere.

First, please explain how the heck do you bled the line from different areas as there is only one place to bled the line and that is on the slave.

Do you have pressure on the clutch pedal? does it stick to the floor if you press it down?

well, if you start at the clutch reservoir... you will find there is a bolt you can loosen, and i started there, and then just followed the clutch line further and further along until i got to the slave cylinder bleeding at each point.

The clutch pedal had NO pressure at first, but after bleeding, it now has pressure.

It does NOT stick to the floor when i press it down.

I haven't put the car in first when the car was OFF and then tried to turn it on...

Is there a possibility that i put the pressure plate on TOO far?? b/c we put it on all the way.

For future reference, you can just leave that bold on the reservoir alone and just bled it from the slave.

PP only goes in one way, so no you cannot put it in too far.

Can you tell me what kind of flywheel are you using and did you install the clutch disc correctly?

the flywheel is the stock one. i re-surfaced it of course...

as far as the clutch goes, i think i put it in correctly... BUT, I might have messed up.

the teeth on the new pressure plate sure are ALOT closer to the flywheel, than the older one was.. I keep thinking that it could be that, but then i keep going in circles between the TOB, and reversing the clutch install. It's gotta be one of those 3 things.
