Oil in spark plug tubes - 96 Accord LX 4 cyldr 2.2L non-vtech
I have oil accumulating in 3 of 4 spark plug tubes of my GF's 96 Accord LX. She had this issue about 6 months ago, but I replaced the valve cover seal & seals for plug tubes. Seemed fine for a while, but now I checked the plugs again and they are leaking again.
Is there something else causing the oil in tubes, or didn't I install them right? It was pretty straight forward and seemed like they got a good enough seal when I installed them.
Do I really care that there's a bit of oil in there? The car runs fine and never shows any symptoms that I can tell. The only way I knew there was oil is that I saw it in there.

could be the lower spark plug tube seals if you've already replaced the upper ones in the valve cover.
Check the Accord FAQ for a link on how to replace the lower seals.

I have been driving 3 years now after countless attempts by Honda and myself to repair it. I havent had any issues so far. I have oil in my #2 spark plug tube. I have near perfect fuel economy, so I just dont worry about it.
