Cat Delete, Now have White Smoke
Ok, so the other day i took my cat out and threw in a test pipe, and of course, few mins after driving off my CEL came on as expected. My freind told me when he was driving behind me that after i cracked VTEC there was a faint white smoke coming from my exhaust. could the CEL be throwing in to much Fuel? would i be better off runnin the Cat? plz help
yeah its valve seals, or rings, but odd's are is the o2 readings are bad cause the cat is not there. just re install the damn cat it dont give you that much power

even if it doesn't have anything to do with it, put it back on....you lose power because of lost backpressure. also makes it sound better and not like a piece of ****!! lol

thanks, il throw it back in and see if the smoke goes away, i hope its just excess fuel thats not getting burnt, would hate to find out its seals or rings going bad.. thanks guys, and btw i like the ricey sound that i get with no cat
im not sure if its true.. but ive always heard and assumned that of course u wuld get smoke out of ur tailpipe since the cat is removed. im not sure if u guys notice but if u go to the tracks and see majority of the cars there. tehy all have smoke out the back and dnt have cats. never heard of it being bad or good for ur car.. jus that its normal for it to smoke after removal of cats.
