Default Suspension help

I have 215/40/17 size tires n i was wonderin how much i could lower my em2 before i start running into problems. Thanks for any help

1. You'll need to mention the size/offset of the wheels the tires are on.
2. You'll need to think about camber, and if you want any or not.
3. You'll need to contemplate rolled fenders.
4. Decide whether or not you care about bump steer.
5. Think about rubbing, and if you care about the damage that can be done by it.

I ran 215/18/35 with rolled fenders in the back and lowered more than 2". My rims had +45 offset. I also had zero camber front and back. I lowered it as much as my coilovers (teins) could lower it. No rubbing even with tons of weight in back.
