Does anyone else have a problem with the horn not working on a CTR EK9 wheel?
PICS ADDED A FEW POSTS DOWN AND AN UPDATE
I have a 2000 Civic Si, and I have a EK9 CTR steering wheel on it. I have the plug connected, but for some reason my horn does not work. I know the horn itself is functioning because if I use the factory keyless entry it honks the horn when locking/unlocking.
Is this a common problem? Is there something extra that I need to buy to hook it up? Is my airbag even hooked up?

Any help would be appreciated.

with my 95 ej2, when i switched to the JDM wheel that did nt have srs I had to run a "shoe horn" metal clip thingie and tap it into the horn to make it work.
I do not know on ek's though and since your new wheel has an airbag i would think its pluga and play.
does your srs light come on or stay on?
is there a etal ring around the back of the new steering wheel around the splines? that is where the shoe horn thing contacts to complete the circuit to make it honk

check the installation and make sure everything is connected properly. its probably just something simple
Bumping this thread.. I just took the wheel off and noticed there is an extra "pin" for the horn, but it has no where to go. Does anyone know if there is a solution to this, or is there any way to make it work?

the 2 red wires that connected are the 12 volt supply to the horn button. you need to find the horn power wire that comes up into the clock spring and hook that red wire to it
that black blok where the air bag wires go should have one or two more terminals in it. those are for the horn

So the red wire(s) should plug right into the black adapter that the airbag wires go into to? I don't know if it will fit into there..

that little red terminal is not stock for that steering wheel. the plug is just a universal connector and not something that honda had on their cars. try to figure out what the wire terminal looks like
Did you use your old clockspring/coil/reel thingy or did you use one that came with the wheel?
It looks like your SRS is plugged in and your horn is grounded but you have no 12v supply for the horn. The 12v supply for the horn comes out of the same place the wires for the SRS come from (that black box with the yellow and green wires) instead of two wires coming out of that thing, it should have four or five... That is your problem, missing wires.

See how this one has like six wires, you need one that has at least two for your airbag and two for your horn ground and 12v power, and maybe more if you wanted to use cruise control...
