Default Help Thanks~

I just got an 2000 S2000, with 65 k mile, I am about to change the oil on it, i am going to use mobile 1 for the engine, but i want to know which fluid is the best for the tranny and the rear differential?

I use royal purple. personal choice. use all mobil 1 products if you want.

yea, i am thinking using for the tranny MTF from honda, not too sure on the rear diff yet, hope you guys can help me

If I change my filter I put in exactly 5qt. As for the diff and tranny im sorry but I dont know off the top of my head.

ah for the motor i use royal purple (5.1 q 5w30 i get it free at work so thats why i use it ),

the tranny i would use the honda mtf, but u can use 10w30 full synthetic for temporary and i dont know how many quarts off the top of my head but it has an overflow plug (i know some guys add synchromesh and stuff)

the rear end i was using mobile 1 but the rearend only lasted a couple thousand miles so i stopped using it, i am now using lucas 80w 90 on an ap2 rearend but i havnt driven it long enough to give you a review on the lucas yet. i believe it uses a little over 1 quart but there is also an overflow plug (make sure the car is level when filling the tranny and diff).

you guys correct me or add anything

look around people have different choices for oils on their cars.. me personally

i use royal purple for the motor

honda MTF or a GM syncomesh/Honda MTF mix for the tranny

and Royal purple inthe DIFF
