Gunmetal? I'd probably go 18s as well unless you plan on dropping it as well, the gaps 17 leaves are pretty big, 18s should help that a tiny bit.

Don't cry little fella. We're here for ya. Royal Blue can be a little tricky to find a matching rim, but if it were me I would say a black rim with a chrome lip might look pretty decent.

I have Tein springs on it now, so its dropped fairly well and should leave no gaps (thank God!). I like both the gunmetal AND the black with polished or chrome rim too. Yes RBP is a tricky color!

Thanks so far for the replies! Keep 'em a comin'!

I would like to have 18's, they look nice, but there are a few things holding me back from them.

1) Weight. I can get very lightweight 17" wheels, but 18" wheels are all a few pounds heavier regardless. +2 wheels will weigh more than +1

2) Width. I'd like to keep as close to stock width on the tires as possible for fuel economy purposes. Most 18"s don't even go below a 7.5" width. A 17x7 would be much better suited for me.

3) Tire profile. The 17's would be a 45 profile, and the 18's a 40. I'd have winter tires and wheels, but i'd worry about damage on some rougher roads here in MN.

4) Ride quality. My car is slammed more than any Accord ever should be, and i've lost all comfort. Little suspension travel, and I can only imagine what it would feel like if I went to 18's or 19's on this car and sacrificed the 50 profile tire. Stock Si specs seem to do just fine, I wouldn't want to be any more uncomfortable than I am now.

That's why I think i'll go with a 17x7 Enkei RPF1 on HFP or Eibach prokit suspension. It won't drop the car too much and I'll still have a comfortable ride with a skinny, lighter wheel.

But that's just my reasoning.

Weight was the biggest concern for me. The lightest cheapest wheels I could find were the FN01RCs in 17x7 @ 15 #s. The car totally drives different with light wheels.

Custom polished mine. Clean enough to eat off them. lol

Now those I like! What brand are they? I wonder what a polished wheel would look like on my color?
