Default E-brake handle

anyone know how to get it off?
my friend got me one of those CF ones and idk how to get the stock one off

i had the same problem only backwards. i had a hatch with a cf one and needed a stock one but i sold the car so i never tried it but you get a towel and a pipe wrench and unscrew it off with the pipe wrench and the towel is so you dont scratch it.
