I'm looking for a decent quality header that people have heard of. I dont want to spend money on a dc sports header. But the real cheap ones on ebay with high s/h make me wonder how well their welds will hold up. I'm hoping someone here knows a good brand with a good price. I have an apexi n1 exhaust on a 97 LS 4dr. Currently using Stock header + cat. I saw some header + cat combos on ebay for about $115 w/shipping.

get a megan header. they're pretty good quality, particularly for the price. been running one on my DD beater for going on 2 years now. no complaints. just don't expect race header performance gains.

also. try searching next time.

 

Just curious, what would be considered a "race header", and what would make it get better hp gains.
