was looking to get the fiber images front lip CF for 92-95 HB and was wondering if anyone has and what they paid....

 

i have their hood, and the weave and quality is okay

 

I have their hood on my 93 hatch, and I think it's really nice. good fit, good weave, etc. But my friend purchased their Spoon copy front lip, and it's not worth the money. It's very flimsy, the mounting points aren't very sturdy, and the carbon weave disappears where the air inlets are located on each side, it's just black, get the real deal, the quality is much better. No offense to Fiber Images, like I said, I've had their hood for over a year, and I love it, but the lip didn't impress me at all.

 

By so far the best hood, I ever seen comes from VIS racing sports. Everything else is basura but I seen many of their hoods and they have a great finish and all corners are smooth and the weave is excellent.

expensive too, $700 for the hood. but i hear they're the best.

 

VIS Racing hoods suck ****. They look really good because they have rounded corners and a nice weave, but in reality they have a shitty clear coat that fogs after very litttle time and the worst thing about VIS is hoods is that THEY DON'T WEIGH LESS THAN STOCK!!!!!...

Even though the thing is carbon fiber, it's still heavy as ****. It's almost as heavy as stock. Unlike a fiber images hood which is like 7lbs.

 

how does the benen lip hold up to the abuse of everyday driving on a mildly low hatch? if i scrape it every so often will it crack and break off? also where is the cheapest place online to buy a benen carbon lip spoiler and eg6 rear wing?
