valve adjusting spect 96 DC2

aaaaaay i got a 1996 teg ls model automatic tranny...
tryna adjust ma valves but dnt knoo the damn specs!!!
so can ne1 leme knoo wat the are??

its .003
and .007

youll need to buy feeler gagues, flat metal sheets, labeled .001 on up.

wud that go the same for 95 ls with standard? and is 003 the intake or exhaust side

also is it safe to do it to an engine with 240k. im startin to get more and more nervous as the miles go up.
