Edit.... H23 alt .... my bad

OK so i think i remember reading on here somewhere that an alternator off a '92 Accord EX will work on the H23 motor. My h23 alt went out and i had a really old used one off a 92 accord ex and it mounted up right and belt fit fine. It went out on me too but im thinking thats cause it was old and it was only a temporary fix to get my car home... Well I found out that I can get the Accord Alternator replaced for free at the local Auto Zone because of a warranty. So heres my question. I know that the Accord Alternator bolts up and fits but is there another difference that would prevent it from working right? Its an 80amp alt and i think the preludes came with either 80amp or 90amp... You guys think the 80amp accord alternator will work fine on my h23?

quite a few Accord parts will mesh with Preludes. I have more Accord parts on my car every day. No preludes at wreckers here. Everybody keeps them untill they burn or get stolen and smuggled to the States. So that leaves me to pick the Accords free lol.

the alternators are teh same as far as i know, the only diff might be the pulley.
