Is there a way to get into the radio if you don't know the code, if you go to a honda dealership do they know how to retrieve the code?

 

call a honda parts dept. with the serial number and they will give you the code. ive done it probably over 100 times with no problems.

Yup, or if you're like me and too lazy to pick up the phone - for some reason if you keep typing in random codes and ******* with the on/off switch (confuse the hell outta it) it'll just override the anti-theft code part.

I don't know why - and that's not an official way, but I've never had it NOT work for me. I've done it maybe &gt;5 times, &lt;15. Though it was all on 5th gens, can't tell ya if it works on 6th gens b/c I'm not rockin the stock deck.

 

Sometimes they'll ask for proof of ownership. But usually not because stock radios aren't much of a theft item.

 

Yeah, I just called the Honda parts department. Or, if he's still doing it, PM slo97coupe. Give him your serial number and he'll reply with the code.
