You should've used the money you wasted on that Chilton's and put it towards a Helms. For a few more dollars, you could have had all the help and precautions you'd ever need.
what did i tell you in the other thread about buying a piece of trash car? should have kept your automatic one
i dint buy a chilton. it came with my first integra. yea ill pick up a helms...ill use it again anyways. thanks
Find the helms on the internet, it's free but I forget the link. Take your time, do it in the daylight I hated doing mine at night. Doesn't really affect much but drain your radiator and tranny before doing it saves some mess.
Be ready to replace the clutch when you get it off. Chances are if your tranny is gone your clutch is gone or will go soon. My clutch was near gone but I swapped it out anyways since it's kind of a PITA to do it in a FWD car.

ok..all the bolts and mounts are out... how to i pull the tranny out?
do i jack it up to level, and just pull out?
just asking... i dont want to do anything wrong.
is there sealant in between the tranny and motor?
do i need to take out the driver's axle from the tranny? or i pull the tranny out and axle stays? the axle is the only thing in the tranny...and a floor jack under the tranny.
help!!

take out the center brace, lower the whole subframe assemble by undoing the frony screw, nd wiggle out the transmission the subframe helps u bu giving u some room on the radius rod. and have something support the engine
that's dope that you got the tranny out. now my question is are you going to reuse your clutch? if so what year is your new tranny? because an s1 clutch for a s1 is different from 92+ b series clutches.
but if not, just do everything you did to get the tranny out backwards and you should have a running car soon. good luck

That's correct, it's a 90-91.
Let me know what you think about it once you get it working.
