I was wondering if anyother honda throttle bodies, or aftermaket ones, will fit or work with my d15b1? I know on this engine there is a restrictor plate that only allows the tb to open from 1/2 to 3/4, never full. So, I am looking for a throttle body that will open all the way and work with my ecu and tps and all that junk, thanks in advance

 

thats the DPFI correct? might be wrong but i think you can take out that restrictor plate, but if its DPFI i dont think that you can change with any other

 

yup, it is dual point, that is correct. So I might just be able to take it out and it should still work?

Yeah, you also have a pretty mild cam.

 

throttle body from D15B2 will work and doesn't have restrictor
