Your sig lists that you own a Type-R already. If you own a Type-R, there isn't much of a reason to buy the parts you listed unless they were stolen.
I can't help but imagine that you have a Canadian spec EJ6 hatchback. Not a Type-R.

I understand. USDM Civic Si coupe = Canadian Civic SiR coupe. Both have the chassis code EM1, which is less confusing than "SiR" since the SiR name is used by so many different models in different countries.
I got confused when your sig was calling it a Type-R (EK9) though, since I know it's easier to import in JDM cars up there.

I believe you're telling the OP to call it an EM1, and not telling me that it was already stated that he drives an EM1, correct?
Anyway though, to clarify to the OP, here are different '96-'00 Civics that are called SiRs.
EJ8 (EDM - here in the US it's called the EX coupe or sedan)
EK4 (also commonly referred to as the VTi or VTi-R hatch or sedan, the VTi-S hatch or Ferio Si/Si-II sedan)
EM1 (also called the Si or VTi coupes)
The EJ8 comes with a 1.6L SOHC VTEC and the EK4 and EM1s both come with a 1.6L DOHC VTEC.
Though the Civic Type-R (EK9) also comes with a 1.6L DOHC VTEC, the EM1s come with the B16A (the CTR has the B16B) and the CTR is only a hatchback while the EM1 is only available as a coupe.
Check the link in my sig for more info.
Calling it the EM1 is just fine. The EM1 is basically the same in all of the countries it is available in.
