Default anyone heard of DuPont?

Well i got an estimate from this guy and he's going to be using DuPont paint and I just want to know have any you guys heard of it and know any good or bad thing about it?

"if you just want me to prep and paint the parts. i can do the entire job for $XXX. that includes all labor, paint and materials. they would be painted with 4 coats of DuPont basecoat (original factory color) followed by 3 coats of DuPont chroma clearcoat. wet sanded and polished to factory finish."

E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company was founded in July 1802 as a gun powder mill by Eleuthère Irénée du Pont on Brandywine Creek, near Wilmington, Delaware, USA. DuPont is currently the world's second largest chemical company (behind BASF) in terms of market capitalization and fourth (behind BASF, Dow Chemical and Ineos) in revenue. Its stock price is also a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average.

In the twentieth century, DuPont led the polymer revolution by developing many highly successful materials such as Vespel, neoprene, nylon, Corian, Teflon, Mylar, Kevlar, Zemdrain, M5 fiber, Nomex, Tyvek and Lycra. DuPont has also been significantly involved in the refrigerant industry, developing and producing the Freon (CFCs) series and later, more environmentally friendly refrigerants. In the paint and pigment industry, it has created synthetic pigments and paints, such as ChromaFlair.</TD></TR></TABLE>

well, make sure you ask for which line of dupont, there's a big price gap between nason from chromabase(if that's what he is using for ALL the stuff then you are good)

one of the trick people do is use a quality coat for one stage and crap stuff for other, or worse, mixing MFG between coats.
