I've got a 91 crx si with a 94 ls motor in it. Most of the time it starts and runs fine but sometimes (esp when its cooler temp outside) it wont even crank and give me cel 8 for tdc sensor. I've had this problem with the ls that was originally in it and i just recently replaced it with one from HMO. My question is what could be causing this since it happened with two different motors and distributors. I have a "preformance" ecu that came with the car and i kind of think that is what is causing my problem.

get a stock ecu and quit f*cking around.:whack:

 

i wasn't sure if that would cause that or not

 

that would be your next course of action. let us know how it turns out!

 

did you check that te wiring is fine

 

well i put in a stock pr4 ecu and known working starter and it's still not even cranking when its really cold outside
