I was pulling my b18c from the donor car. Forgot about the shift linkage. pulled the car up a few times. When i finally saw the shift linkage still on. I was like "DAM I HOPE THE TRANNY IS OK. Can that do damage? has any one else ever done this. If so was your tranny ok. I'm still hitting my self over the head about that one.

What do you mean that you pulled the car up a few times? you mean you jacked the tranny and the motor up? be more discriptive but i think it will be fine if it is still in the car try shifting that should tell ya

 

When i was pulling out the motor. With the engine hoist, I forgot to unbolt the shift linkage. Than when i was pulling out the motor With that hooked up it pulled
the car up to. Went back on fourth a few times. Than i saw it still hookd up. What kind of stress did that put on the tranny. IS that a lil better
