Default Hello all,First post with some questions.

I have a 86 accord that i just put a 89 engine in.It had less than 30,000 miles with all receipts for maintanance.I also put in a new clutch, brakes, exhaust and efi.It runs like a new car now.I have a bearing in the passenger side knuckle that is a little loose and need a source for tools.I need a hub puller and tie rod and ball joint tools.Anyone have a good source for reasonably priced tools. Thanks Mark

you dont need tools for the ball joints or tie rod ends, just smack them with a hammer good and hard. might not seperate at first, but a few good blows will do the trick.

I have tried that with no luck, maybe i need to use my sledge hammer.I don't want to tear up the knuckle or anything else just to replace a coupe parts.

no, dont use a sledge, thats too much, a nice 4 lb hammer will do... standard hammers are too light...

your other option is a pickle fork, but i prefer not to use those because they tear up boots and bushings...
