What does this have to do with the OP's question? What do you care what they are for? all he asked is how hard they are to install. Answer the question, help out in some way, or don't reply at all.
To the OP, to do it properly the hub must be removed

yeah ur right it is my first time doing this on a honda , the last time i did this was on a 5.0 and it was a drum break , but its kinda late and i talked to the machine shop and they told me they wouldnt have them ready by 2day so ima hold off for another day , not a big deal i still have 3 other lug nuts holding the wheel
i just did mine on the four door the other day...
i took off the wheel, caliper, rotor, axle nut...
got a 5lb slap hammer to bolt to the lugs and gave it a yank, after they came out i just slapped it in a vise and swapped out the oe studs for the skunks
to put it back together... just line up the splines on the axle and give it a couple taps until you have enough threads sticking through to use the axle nut to draw everything together
all said and done it only took about 30 minutes to do both sides
good luck

you can do it like how it was posted...hammer out the old studs and use a vice or screw on the new extended studs. I did my rears myself and after a month or two wheel bearings went bad
But the right way to do like stated is to take off the knuckle and the brakes. Have the hub, wheel bearings, and studs all pressed out. Then press in new wheel bearings and the studs.
All the labor at napa (pressing all the old out and new things in) cost me $30...
New wheel bearings about $100.

thanks for all ur help , i'll try to post up pics of how it came out .
