My Transmission is going out!! need advice!

Default My Transmission is going out!! need advice!

Is there anything i cant do to prevent further damage before it goes out.
my main problem is shifting.. unfort. its an automatic.
i let go of the gas to allow the shift..is there any way i can personally fix this?

I don't think there are a lot of people on this website (that I know of) that even mess with honda auto transmissions.

I'm not sure of your honda knowledge or mechanical skill but it shouldn't be too hard to replace yourself. An auto transmission used is only worth 100 bucks or so, i let one rot in my back yard till I took it to the metal yard for metal.

yea u need a new one. that happened to my accord and there is no fixing it unless u rebuild it. i picked one up for 300 at the junk yard with 56000 miles on it.

oh thanks...dam.. thats what i didn't want to do...
actually im not very knowledgable on honda's im playing with my first one..
im going to try the junkyard..
