I have a 00 gsr with an itr rear sway bar out back. I was wondering if there was any benefit in getting an itr front sway bar installed in my car. Will it fit?

 

No need, both use the same size front sway, well, for the USDM. But to answer your question, the ITR front bar will fit if you really want to, but be warned, front swaybar install is a pain in the ***!

 

could you elaborate? cliff notes explanation would be fine. what all is involved in changing the front sway?

So they are the same diameter? (itr vs. gsr front sway bar) Would getting a trunk brace be a better suspension mod than getting an itr front sway bar?

 

Lemme say this again, GSR AND ITR FRONT SWAYS ARE THE SAME. So, yes, a trunk brace would be better than a ITR front sway, but i wouldnt worry about that little bar across the rear. Get a rear tower bar if you wanna buy a bar. Just my $.02.
