Also, search the RR/Auto-X thread, you'll come across a good amount of threads.

I don't see how your going to have a cage "out of sight". A better fit cage will sit closer to the pillar bars and roof but the harness bar and the bars that extend back from the main hoop to the rear of the car will be visible.

Maybe you can paint the cage a darker color as to stand out more.

That cage is a joke. I dont know if its a drag race cage or what, but the bends in the rear support legs is brain-dead. Def not good for road-racing as nothing looks to spec (front legs, no crossbar and much more). </TD></TR></TABLE>

as it is posted in the drag racing thread. i'd say yes, its a drag cage. and it is a very well made cage and does what it needs to for us

I'm sorry, but how do plan on attaching the roll bar/cage safely to the car if you arn't going to bolt or weld it?

The diamond plate floor mats are sick. Do those things come precut for our cars?

I'l be first to admit that my car has more track safety equipment than it needs. I wheel and deal and love to pick up good deals used parts, so when items came up locally and on h/t I acquired them. I'v known for several years that DEs and track days were something I wanted to get into more and more. Safety wise I pretty much dove head first went over the top for my current driving level.

That being said, a roll bar is quite a bit of work and can really reduce your daily driving comfort if you strip the rear etc. On the track though, I definitely feel more comfortable strapped down in my recaros than a seat belt in stock seats. Just my .02

This is why I'm building a tRack caR sometime soon. Find a clean title shell, K20R, 6.330FD, 200whp+ stock engine, gut/strip it to hell, tight suspension, full cage (Not just a bar), and have some fun, while keeping my stReet caR for my well rounded Type-R.

&lt;--- Dreams, maybe a bit too much.

They do. I blew both of my OEM floor pans out when my manifold was going out from spraying too much NOS. I got these diamond plates and they handle all the NOS I can throw at the car.
