i need to find someone(in florida hopefully) who can wire my project for me. im dissabled and cant do anything myself. i need to wire a jdm automatic transmission to my usdm 5speed gsr. i need to convert from manual to auto. and have no clue how 2 wire it up? ive been told ill need the jdm ecu,auto tranny, and a tcm(whats tcm?) i have no idea how to hook all this together. a few people have told me its impossibal, so i dont need to hear that anymore. i know someone can help. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME.

not sure what exactly u mean by "setup". im a little slow i guess.. i just need someone to tell me that it can be done, and WHO can do it 4 me. at this point all ive herd is it CANT be done. i have a usdm gsr, i need to make it an auto. no usdm auto gsr's and i know there is jdm auto gsr's.

What year is your car? What auto tranny are you wanting to use?

 

my car is 98, obd2. i have a 92-93 integra obd1 jdm auto. i bought it thinking it was the only auto tranny on a gsr, but ive been told they even have a jdm obd2 auto gsr, not sure if its true. im having some trouble mounting the tranny, but i believe we will get it with some fabrication. if it were alot easier 2 wire an obd2 auto i would get one. PLEASE HELP.. i would b forever greatful 2u if u can help me convert my gsr to auto. THANK YOU

 

one more thing, some people have said the usdm/jdm ls auto is the exact same thing as a jdm gsr auto.. is this true? ive also been told an ls auto wont operate properly when vtec kicks in, it will want 2 down shift when vtec kicks in therfore making vtec useless, the ls is different from jdm auto gsr. I DONT KNOW WHO 2 BELIEVE.. everywhere i go someone has different facts.. kinda makes it hard 2 find the truth. if an ls auto is the same as a jdm gsr auto, wouldnt it be alot easier to use the ls auto? IF it would run properly with my b18c vtec.. PLEASE HELP ME MAKE MY BABY DRIVEABLE BY ME AGAIN...
