i would love to meet one of the pro racers from h-t but, i HATE driving to palmdale. but, i will be going to the Nhra event in Pomona in October. hopefully, i'll see you there if you decide to attend (i read your rant about nhra)

I was going to go but I don't have the money to go right now with the $25 to get in and it would be me and my wife so $50 i don't think so right now I wanted to go.

You live close enough to sneak in. $25 kept me away today but got a free pass for tomorrow. I can afford that.

I just wish that the IDRC would do some more Midwest trips. They do a couple in TX, but I wish they went to St. Louis, MO or back to the Chicago area or possibly even Heartland Park in Topeka, KS.
That's one reason I'll support the NDRA is because they are coming to Gateway in St. Louis.
And yes I have made the trek twice to San Antonio for the Lone Star Nats so it's not like I wouldn't go to these closer events.

I raced @ the event this weekend . I actually thought the event was ok .Grantid i do not like the commericality of it, but overall it was good .You have to have all the cheesy "car show , sound off bs" to get a good turnout & the promoters know this...I also like idrc better ...but you gotta do what you gotta do

yeah we are hoping to add route 66 and remove an event from the east coast. and posibbly go to houston as well.
