Fuel Smell...
Could be anywhere along your fuel system From bumper to bumper pretty much. Only you are going to be able to diagnose this one. You will have to use the mighty sensory organs of yours (nose) to sniff out exactly where the smell is coming from and (eyes) to look for wet spots on your driveway or the under carriage of your car. It could be anything from a break line, injector seal leaking, EVAP system to a hole in your gas tank.
Pop the hood and see if the gas smell is stronger at the front. As well you might want to check the EVAP canister while your in the engine compartment. They say that these don't need to be changed but I had to change mine. Because it smelled something fierce of gas. It is the black canister attached to your firewall right under your throttle body. If you have no luck finding the source under the hood your going to have to get a bit dirty. Lay down and check the fuel lines from your gas tank all the way up to the fuel filter. It's an all smell & visual diagnosis for fuel leaks.
